Integrated Health Care

It's not unusual for some children to require the services of a physician, a mental health therapist, and an occupational therapist in order to support their overall health and well-being. What is unusual, however, is to find all of these services located in one familiar, child-friendly setting. In January 2008, Community Reach Center purchased Mountainland Pediatrics and moved its Early Childhood Team to Mountainland's Thornton location. Mountainland's staff includes pediatricians, pediatric nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and medical assistants, all of whom have access to psychologists, a psychiatrist, an infant mental health specialist, and therapists with expertise in early childhood development on-site at all times. An occupational therapist is also on-site to provide therapeutic services for children with sensory integration difficulties.
