Urgent Care Centers

Urgent Care locations treat illnesses and injuries that require medical attention, but are not life threatening. They are often more convenient and less costly (lower co-pays or lower charges to your deductible) than visiting a hospital emergency room. These facilities are most appropriately used only after normal business hours when Mountainland Pediatric;s offices are closed (see Hours).

Common conditions that can be treated at these locations include:

  • Ear infections
  • Sore throat
  • Cold and flu symptoms (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever)
  • Minor burns
  • Mild asthma
  • Sprained or strained ankles
  • Suspected fractures or broken bones
  • Cuts, scrapes and rashes
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Mild dehydration
