Behavior Problems

Mountainland Pediatrics has access to a team of on-site, full-time therapists from Community Reach Center who specialize in evaluating and treating the emotional and behavioral issues of infants, children, and adolescents. We provide services for children and their families who need help with:

Forming close and healthy relationships with family and peers.
Regulating and expressing feelings such as irritability, frustration, sadness, anger, fear, or anxiety.
Developing strategies to address behaviors such as aggression, defiance, poor impulse control, or difficulties adjusting to change.
Managing stress-related symptoms, such as recurrent nightmares, sleeping or eating difficulties, or challenges with bladder/bowel elimination.
Managing responses to traumatic experiences, such as abuse/neglect, family/community violence, removal from home, family illness/death, divorce/separation, family substance abuse, or parental mental health concerns.
